Horizon Camera App Reviews

Very useful, especially in situations where it is hard to hold the camera level. Note there are a lot of options to customize the behavior of the app, e.g. where the images are saved.

Best app EVER!!

This app seemed great until I actually used it to video something important only to find out later that day that it did not save. Thus making this app useless.

While not the most technical video app out there, this is still my go-to video app for one reason: the tilt-to-zoom function. All other zoom methods out there are wildly inferior to Horizons. The combination of being able to tilt zoom while the video remains perfectly horizontal to the earth is... simply amazing. Other apps, like FILMiC Pro are better suited for semi pro shooting, but FILMiC is not the video app I keep ready to rock on my iPhones home screen... Horizon is.

When I see someone shooting a little video I say, "Do you have Horizon?" Then I say, "You should totally get Horizon. The Blair Witch Project was fine.... once." And I am not being ironic. Get Horizon. Its an excellent app.

When I exported my videos to my camera roll, the bulk of them disappeared. Stupidly, I deleted them from the app before I checked so I lost weeks worth of videos of my 1 year old. :(

Youd think the video would end up having lots of blur or distortion when using a program like this, but even on my lowly 4S it looks great.

This app should be stock on all phones. The slow-mo playback doesnt seem to work though.

The app is very neat and works pretty well but I cannot get AE and AF to work properly on my iPhone 6. It locks the focus and exposure pretty much all the time even when its set to automatic and I have to keep tapping the screen to update focus and exposure. When I was able to get AE to work the AF stayed locked. Another thing I noticed is that stabilization doesnt work as well as the iOS camera app. If all the bugs were fixed this would be an amazing app. Right now I can only use it if I dont need exposure and focus to change while recording.

ProCam has the main feature of this app along with 4k recording and a plethora of others. So the point of this app is...? This app is the equivalent to that one App store iOS jousting game only focused on jousting, when any legit RPG game has jousting and thousands of other stuff as the selling point.

The best Auto Horizon video cam out and Im glad I purchased sadly now its free. But still worth purchasing before. Enjoy!! To those who will purchase in the future.
